Description
When leaving the viewer/editor, the two-panel file manager screen flickers a lot.
Go to the viewer/editor and then leave it. The two panels are redrawn immediately, but then for about half a second the screen flickers a lot. You see the cursor appearing at random places for a short time, and the rest of that line (to the right from the cursor) becomes fully black for that fraction of the second. This happens at a several different places of the screen, one after the other.
This is a regression from the 4.6 series. Both my 4.6 and 4.7 are compiled/run against slang 2.1.3.
I have gnome-terminal 2.22.1 / vte 0.16.13 (probably not the fastest terminal emulator) from Ubuntu Hardy, and the terminal window is huge (let's say, 160x80 characters or so).

This flickering is also visible when you press Ctrl+R on the main two-panel screen. In 4.6 the screen just stayed still (if it was already correctly painted), in 4.7 it flickers a lot. Moreover, 4.6 didn't change the Hint line, 4.7 does.
