Description

It would be interesting to use MC as an admin tool, with all the ls* commands

and how do you imagine this to look like? an lsfoo:// vfs? how would that be different from simply browsing /proc?

If it's already done in proc (ex. /proc/locks) then the feature is already implemented. No need to reimplement stuff already done.

FAR has something like this, but Windows doesn't have /proc. Unless there is a specific idea of how to do it, I don't see the point of having a vague wish for special support of lsof and so on. Therefore closing this ticket for now.
