Description
In Debian we got multiple presumably related reports for the problem, see
- http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=698936 "segfault in gslice.c deleting file"
- http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=666275 "crash when deleting a file with MALLOC_CHECK_, MALLOC_PERTURB_ on"
- http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=710032 "MC randomly segfaults on deleting one file (F8) or copying data (F5)"
Please find GDB backtraces in first two bug reports. I was not able to reproduce the problem but it was reported multiple times by different users.
