Hintbar visible & ftp output

Description

Then flag 'Hintbar visible' disabled - then ftp messages appears at top of the screen and currupts top line (see attachment)

VFS messages are printed in the first raw of screen. That is correct.

but there is no free lines at the top to put any VFS messages )
i think if 'Hintbar visible' disabled - no need to put VFS messages anywhere

VFS messages should be displayed in any case. But another questions are: where and how?

why is so important to display VFS messages ?
