Discussion:
Sat 26 Apr 2008 03:21:07 PM UTC, comment #3: It looks like it only hangs on local directory changes, I can use the ftp and zip VFS fine. Ken Allen <cardboard42> Fri 25 Apr 2008 04:58:59 PM UTC, comment #2: The original thread is here: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=5469 It doesn't say much more than I already have I'm afraid. It hangs for every directory. Everything else appears to work fine. Ken Allen <cardboard42> Sun 09 Mar 2008 10:57:37 AM UTC, comment #1: Does it happen for every directory or only for certain directories ? Could you point me to the original bug report ? Pavel Tsekov <ptsekov> Project Administrator Wed 13 Feb 2008 02:57:19 AM UTC, original submission: MC hangs for me if I change directories, either by selecting one from the panel or cding from the shell. This does not happen if it is started as root. I'm using Arch Linux i686 and I tried with 4.6.1 and with cvs. Another Arch user reported the same problem several years ago but never reported a fix.
