Ticket #3902, comment 13
v1 v2 2 2 There's a problem with the cursor scrolling direction in MC and it's clear - when user drags fingers down, cursor moves up and vice versa. It's a bug and it shall be fixed asap. The fast way to fix is either to disable scrolling at all or to add the setting I proposed. As for me, the decision is clear. 3 3 4 Looks like you just want to keep your opinion and don't want to admit it's a bug and it shall be fixed. Have no idea why, maybe you just hate the natural scrolling as you told before. But if even so, you could just not turn this o n and rest of mac users, including me, will be happy because it's really obvious - cursor shall not move up when users scroll down. It's absolutely clear.4 Looks like you just want to keep your opinion and don't want to admit it's a bug and it shall be fixed. So, why don't just fix a bug, I wonder? I'd try to look at the code and implement "offscreen" scrolling when I'll have some more time than I have now, or maybe you or someone else could, but why don't just fix it now at least getting rid of that wrong opposite scrolling? It's really strange, I don't understand your motives - is it just a stubbornness? Do you really believe this setting will disturb and obstruct somebody/something? Don't understand... Sure, I can apply this patch to every new version by myself, but there must be other people having the same problem...
