Description
Ticket #3285's fix broke what I considered a great feature, file's basename aligned to the same vertical status line position as the first column while editing. To me the path of a filename heading up the status line while editing is just noise. Please provide an option to exclude the path from mcedit's status line.
Whether to sync the behavior of mcedit to mcview isn't important to me. I might rather have independent choices whether to include basename in the two modes, definitely selecting exclude in mcedit and possibly selecting include in mcview.
