mc-4.8.7: german copy/move dialogs are way too big

Description

Steps to reproduce:

1.) LANG="de_DE.UTF-8" mc
2.) Try to copy (F5) or move (F6) some file
3.) Watch the huge dialog (see attached screenshot)

Also I cannot see anything being typed into the destination (named "to") field. When I run mc with english locale (LANG=C or LANG="en_US.UTF-8") the dialogs look normal.

Confirmed, problem is:

"Dive into subdir if exists"

translates in the German locale as:

"In Unterverzeichnis abtauchen, wenn es existiert"

That requires a console width of at least 111 chars.

A strongly shortened translation would read like:

"In Unterverz. legen, wenn exist."

...where "legen" means "lay/put". That one would fit in a 79er console..

Or, limit the new dialog "stretching" so that the extra width won't make
the final dialog width bigger than the overall console width.

The translation of that particular string was modified.

I've checked with the latest version and it currently has "In Unterverz. legen, wenn existiert", so that the dialog barely fits. If this is not OK, please offer alternate translation or, better, fix it on Transifex.

Do we need that "if exists" in the original string at all? Wouldn't it be obvious without it too: "Dive into subdir"? Btw that's the label the manpage refers to.

After all, "Follow links" is not "Follow links if the source is a symlink" either, same for "Stable symlinks".

Or just drop it from the German translation?
