copy operation from ftp raises segmentation fault, mc ver = 4.7.5-226-g2a7c140
but view file on ftp works
prev version (4.7.5-211-g60c2a29) - works ok

Well, current version of master is 4.7.5-205-gd78cbca. Where and when you did get 4.7.5-211-g60c2a29 and 226-g2a7c140 versions?
I've copied ftp://ftp.gtk.org/pub/gtk/README, no segfault.

hmm, as usual, i executed 'git pull' , 'make', 'sudo make install' in dir where long ago i executed 'git clone'
right now i re-executed in empty dir 'git clone', './autogen.sh', './configure', 'make', 'sudo make install' and got ver = 4.7.5-205-gd78cbca
my knowledge of git at beginner level, so i dont understand how i made 4.7.5-211-g60c2a29 and 226-g2a7c140 versions )
but also 4.7.5-205-gd78cbca have this bug - try to copy dir with files (not only one file); yes i forgot it to describe

OK, thanks! Segfault is reproducable with copying a single file.
