Hey,

At least in Debian o3totxt is outdated and is replaced by odf2txt. So with current mc it's not possible to view openoffice files currently (without patching).

I would suggest to have a look how the situation is in other distributions and then switch from o2totxt to odf2txt.

install odt2txt utility.
download test.tar.gz
extract test.tar.gz
press f3 on test.odp, test.ods, test.odt
you must see content this files
