Summary:
1) Ctrl+Enter WORKS in raw console (Slang/Ncurses?)
2) Ctrl+Enter WORKS in terminal (Ncurses)
3) Ctrl+Enter DOES NOT work in terminal (Slang)
It is expected to work in all of there three cases.
