Toggling hidden files doesn't update the other panel

Description
Click on the dot or circle above the "Modify time" label. This toggles the "Show hidden files" option, which is a global (not per-panel) option.
With certain skins where the symbol changes, you can see it changing in the opposite panel too. The current panel's listing is updated immediately. But the other panel's listing is only updated when you switch to that panel. It should also update immediately.
(Alternatively, the "Show hidden files" and "Show backup files" options could be made per-panel, configured under Left/Right? -> Filter.)
