Description

Hi there!

I recently noticed, that in the git version of mc, backspace no longer deletes empty lines. In fact, it used to, comparing to the last 4.6.x release. Consider the following file:

[newline]
[cursor][newline]
[newline]

When I press backspace I expect mcedit to delete the newline above the cursor. It no longer does it for whatever reason...

Thanks!
